Timing chain may be bad put the cylinder on #1 up to the top and make sure the timing marks on the front pully is pointing to the fromt timing mark o degrees next pull #1 plug pull distributor cap and move the fan back and forth watch the rotor if it takes time to move then you have a badtiming chain. if not try replacing the oil pressure switch behind and below the distributior.

Running like it skipping ,change plug wires ,dist, rotor button, map sensor?

Check the coil first make sure getting a good blue spark orange is questional .
Also check the fuel filter .It sounds like eighter electrical or fuel problem.
If the MAPP sensor didn't make any differance in how it runs its probably not a vacuum but dubble check do the brakes work good a leak in the vacuum booster controll unit would cerate a vacuum problem or any vac lines not connected .
Also pull a couple of plugs they should look like a tan color and be dry if black and oily to rich or oil problems to much gas .If white to lean a fuel restriction problem or air leak to much air entering cylinders

Why does my 2.5 GMC sonoma truck skips or misses?

Worn timing belt or bad map sensor, weak ignition coil, worn distributor gear (usually starts hard with that) Leaking manifold gaskets all possible causes. Start with a new coil, spray starting fluid around manifold gasket while running, if it revs up in any certain spots, manifold leaking (intake only test), check vacuum lines for cracks and leaks,(MAP) replace sensor. Over 75,000 miles probably timing belt, recommended change interval is 60,000 miles.

I have a 93 grand cherokee lerado with the 5.2 engine. the first thing to happen is the ignition coil went all of a sudden while driving. replaced the coil and ran great for two weeks then it started to...

How did you determine bad coil? was it not sparking period? I ask because coils rarely if ever go bad... What is the fuel pressure? Are the injectors firing? Spark plugs fouled?
Other sensors to check: Coolant temp sensor? Manifold air temp or intake air temp sensor? O2...These will change your air/fuel mix at temp if they're bad...

90 chev 350 runs bad

The ignition module in those usually work or they dont. But on the 90 model years , you have to have a pretty evident problem for the engine light. I would bet 1 of 2 things. The oxygen sensor at the "y" pipe is out, or the catalytic converter or muffler is plugged .ok that was 3 things, tell me how that works out for ya.
