Question about 2003 Dodge Stratus
Hi I was riding down the highway when all of the sudden my car seemed to lose power ( like it was running out of gas). Towed the car home and verified that the fuel pump was not switching on. removed the fuel pump tested it it works fine. Next i tested the connections to the fuel pump for power. I have checked all relays and fuses, Tried to connect an obd11 scanner to it and incurred an operation (connection) error.
It may be that the alternator is malfunctioning, which is one of the 9 common causes of a vehicle's loss of power. See the article on this:
