Radio wiring will start from the fuse box side to the back of the radio. Speaker wiring will be packed away with other related interior wiring

The plugs go directly into the radio's rear back plate. Everything from there on is wires only

Removed CD Player as not woking then replaced on doing so wipers and lights came on. Now cant start car window wont go up and now power to radio/dash any ideas. Please

You've pulled a plug off in the wiring harness somehow. Retrace your steps carefully and check all the harness plugs are fully home.
Either that or you've trapped the harness somehow on refitting the CD. I just hope you haven't fried the wires in the harness to give you these faults.

I need to installl a cd player in my car and i cant get the thing that holds the radio and heater off.

You will have to remove the dash cover to gain access to that bezel piece. That bezel actually extends around the instrument cluster and and radio area, all one piece. The dash cover is held on by a series of torx screws located under the top defrost vent, side access panels (when you open the car doors, there is a panel on each side). In the glove box area and there are two 10 mm bolts that are tucked up under in the glove box area but accessible. After you remove the dash cover, you can remove the torx screws that hold the bezel in place. On the bezel down by the radio, there are spring clips that hold that part of the bezel. Remember when replacing the stock OEM radio, you will need to buy a mounting hardware kit, wiring harness kit and antenna kit for the Cavalier that will work with your new cd player.

I want to change my original cd player for a pioneer

This is because you need to purchase the aftermarket-oem harness plug. This harness plugs into your original equipment radio harness and allows you to plug any aftermarket radio into the stock deck wires. After you plug the harness in you can then connect the radio wires together.Your local autoparts store or circuit city or best buy or audio express will have these radio conversion plugs.I hope I could help

Can not find where to plug CD player to the harness

does the radio have cd changer controlls? if so you may find the wires in the trunk if not you will have to buy a harness from ford and make sure the cd changer will work with the stock radio. Call the local ford dealer parts dep but make sure you have the vin number from the car with that they can look up the car and tell you what options where installed from the factory and can order the correct cable

How do o remove the radio from my 2002 buick century?

There is a single screw located inside the glove box (on the left side) that needs to be removed. Then just carefully pull out the plastic dash as it is only secured by pushpins. Then remove the 2 screws holding the radio, and unplug the antenna and wiring harness, and it's out.
