Hi

Not very descriptive as to problem. If it is not cooling, and the freon is okay, it might be the condenser, blower or damper door that is contributing to this problem. For more on this diagnosis, see this helpful article:

Wil the blower come on If I need freon in my 1999 Cadillac Eldorado ??

NO! The Freon level doesn't affect blower motor. You just won't get cool air. Check the fuse or relay.

99 Caravan 3.8L AC not cooling. But working better when we come to a stop. Acting like recycled air not working

Check the condenser in front of the radiator for any dirt/trash/leaves/anything to block the air flow through the cooling fins. Then check freon level in the a/c unit to see if the proper amount of freon is in the system.(low freon in system will cause little or no a/c). Check under the hood at the fuse/relay panel, lift the top off of panel and look inside the cap for proper location of fuses and relays controlling the a/c system. They will all be labeled and inspect for any fuse/relay that maybe blown in fuse panel. Hope this will help.

2004 SATURN VUE HAS PROBLEM BLOWING COLD AIR WHEN SITTING IDLE. IT WILL COOL IF I AM DRIVING AND GIVING IT GAS CONTINUOUSLY. FREON OK. CHECKED OUT BY MECHANIC WHO REPLACED THE "EXPANSION VALVE". STILL...

did you check if the cooling fans are working? this is very important, because they lower the pressure of the freon before passing throughout the expansion valve and getting into the evaporator, more pressure means highter temperature, , of course when you are driving the air flow throughout out the condenser lowering the freon temperature in the condenser and lowering the freon pressure at the high side, tha's way the temperature inside the car is lower ... you can have a similar problem if the condenser is partially plugged..hope this was very helpful...

Air condition not cooling.fan OK

the compressor doesn't have any freon or the fuse is blown. The compressor has a pressure switch when it has the correct amount of freon in, the switch is closed. So if doesn't have the right amount it won't work.

Does not seam to be getting any fire , shop put freon and oil in it checked fuse under hood, compressor is ok ,fan is blowing but wont get cool

maybe there are leaks or there are clogged aluminum pipes in the evaporator, condenser and compressor.

Air cond dash light works, compressor doesn't go on.

AC's have a low freon switch that shuts off the system to protect the compressor in the advent that you have a freon leak have the system checked for a leak

Sounds like you have a freon leak somewhere. No gas or low gas in the system will not let the clutch kick in. Have it check out professionally, unless you know what you are doing in terms of low side and high side pressure check. The latter can be dangerous if you are not familiar with the procedure, if you connect the freon or the 134 can to the wrong nozzle, the can can blow up.
