It is a warning light that informs you that there is a likely issue about your car.

In a situation like this you should not panic but rather go for a scan which will reveal error code(s) if any.

Light on screen says REQ. MAINT.

Could be as easy as your car is due for an oil change (if that hasn't been done within the required interval (check your owners manual). If that is not the problem, I suggest taking it to a mechanic that you trust, that has a computer that he can hook to your car to find out exactly what the problem is........ As it could be quite a few different things

How do i reset the dash lights on a 98 Honda Accord v6

I assume you want to reset you maint required light. Try this: With the key off, press and hold the select/reset button on the dash. Then turn the key on, with the button still pressed the light will start flashing and then go out. (It takes about 10 seconds to go out.)

How to reset Maint requ light on dash

Oh are you lucky today! I just did this yesturday for a friend. Although it is sort of like when someone asks you for road directions. You just know how but you never think how. So here goes. 1. It is in the owners manual for this procedure specifically. Or 2. Turn ignition to the off position. depress the trip set odometer butoon and keep it pressed and turn the ignition on ( not to try to start it but just on ). Wait 10 seconds release the set button, turn ithe ig. to off and start the car.

How to reset the maint required light on 92 Wrangler

That is a reminder to change your o2 sensors that comes on around 82,000 miles. Check under the dash for a small module about 2" by 1.5" thats semi-transparent and has gears visible inside, pull the plug out of it. If thats not it On the post-Renix and pre-OBD-II XJ's, the "maintenance required" light is driven by the ECU directly. There is NO separate timer like there was on the Renix model. It's designed to come on at 82,500 miles, and basically is an alert to have the O2 sensor changed.

The ONLY way this light can be reset is with the special DRB scanner from Chrysler. The alternative most owners take is to just PULL THE BULB from the warning cluster in the instrument panel.

2005 toyota corolla ce maint. required need to know how to reset.

To reset the system. Turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position with the odometer reading shown. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position while holding down the trip meter reset knob. Hold down the knob for at least 5 seconds. The odometer indicates "000000" and the light goes off. If the system fails to reset, the light will continue flashing.

DO NOT operate your CRV until you have drained the coolant from the engine and radiator, then flush the system thoroughly w/ water.. Why did you add liquid detergent to the radiator? This will cause foaming of the detergent, and will probably result in diminished cooling of the system. Please describe the dashboard light that's on . Is it some type of symbol? Do you notice anything unusual about how the car is running? Please let me know the answers to the above questions, and the outcome. countrycurt0
