Likely cause is a blown head gasket. have a compression test done and hopefully that will locate which cyclnder(s) have/has the problem.

This is most likely due to a blown head gasket.

Pull out the engine oil dip stick, and examine the colour of the engine oil. If it is milky, then your head gasket is faulty.

You can also look for white smoke coming from your exhaust pipe.

Check your oil and make sure it's not milky. If it is do not drive it. Get it to the shop as you may have a blown head gasket. Happens easily if you run it overheated for a period of time.

Water in oil but have a intake water leak under intake

Hey you have a head gasket failure, stop driving and get it fixed. I had a 1999 grand am and years down the road I had water in the oil, mechanic said it was the intake gasket, 1600 dollars later and I sold the car to escape the problems with grand ams, the water is a milky color in the oil, this means there is a breach near the pistons and your colant line and thats where you water and oil mix sometimes cause you engine to overheat and sometimes not able to drive.

Engine hot temperature high loosing colant

Check for radiator leaks, hose leaks, try to locate the area were the leak is occuring. You may need a new thermostat. If you can locate were the leak is, chances are you'll find the area in need of repair. If coolant is running from small line " hose from radiator or coolant bottle", could be a faulty thermostat.

2001 cadillac catera: oil in coolant?

The Problem, My friend, is a leaking oil cooler. this item is mounted, inside the engine, under the intake manifold. The cooler or the connections are bad. Coolant flows through the cooler, if it brakes then the oil will contaminate your coolant and make a mess.!! Have it checked. Must times is the seals at the pipe to cooler flange connector. will need new seals.. Hope this helps.
