Question about 1996 Ford Explorer
For some time now the switchs on the drivers side are the only switches that would operate any of the windows. This has been the case for some time now. Now the switches only work intermittent. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason for them working or not working. I thought maybe overheating....jarring...shorting out..... somebody said it sounded like the relay switch Like I said the switches work and all windows roll up an down and the they just quit working. please help. FRUSTRATED AND HOT WOMEN ....I HAVE NOT A/C EITHER.....MORE ? ON THAT TO COME.
Check for broken wires in the drivers door hinge area. Ther should be a large rubber tube and inside the wiring for the power windows and power door locks.
