no I don't. Check to see if the housing was out of round from wear. if you did install the new ones yourself did you press these in or hammered then in?

Where is the prop shaft located?

Your vehicle doesn't have a PROP shaft. Yours has a drive shaft. Prop shafts are normally on 4x4 trucks and refer to front drive shaft. What trouble are you having with the cruise control?

How do i remove drive shaft from jeep liberly

the rear shaft? center prop shaft.
front, rear or CV? what? try point to the shaft and say
IM here, at X and want to replace Z, exactly HERE.
I toss dice land on REAR.
the joints have bolts, see them>? did you even look or just wondering?

which engine,
which transmission and 4wd options, called drive line, we can not guess this....
there are 8 , driveline optios (i cant guess it)
and 3 liberty models, ill guess sport
but will.
here is my wild guess.

see those rear bolts at the rear U-joint>?
1: match mark those rear parts, (means mark them so you get them back right , they are factory balanced..
2: remove the 4 bolts and nuts.
3: the prop shaft drops.
4: have a pan below, the A/T tranny (wild guess that) and catch any
ATF fluid that drips here.
5: slide the prop shaft of end of tranny or xfr case as it may apply.

or read the FSM,
or login to and read. like we do.

1999 grand vitara 4wd how do front hubs disengage

best why is one tire on ground, front.! spin other tire. and feel prop by hand... fell the energy there. (there is no other way)
did you try to stop the prop shaft (xfr to axle) by and, while turning
tires? that is the test, free air spins only invite, fails reading due to
the viscous nature of GL5 lube.

the front axles has a 4wd drive has an internal pneumatic
air slave servo. and and external pump.
disconnect the air hose there. at pump to axle.
if axles is still locked up the internal slave is bad.

NOISE, is one of the most hardest problems to find in any machine
and for sure cars that only make noise moving, 100x harder
no body here can guess this, we are deaf here but I can tell you
most noises are:
1: bad u-joint.s
2: tires bouncing. (unbalances, did the silly glue on weights fall off?)
3: bad wheel bearing. (feel them, if you can feel play its bad)

use an electronic, stethoscope and end the danger, moving.

best bang for buck is here, buy cheap walfart head phone muffs for $5 for best play.

Front Prop shaft bearing on freelander needs replacing again. Why?

Prop shafts are actually balanced, if the balance weight has fallen off it will keep damaging the bearing, check for a balance weight, it is like a flat piece of metal stuck to the prop, there may be more than one.

The clearance between the propeller shaft and the gear box of cortina 16E (1970) thanks

You have me confused? There is no clearance between the prop-shaft and the gearbox. THe front of the prop-shaft slides over the splines on the end of the gearbox and the end of the shaft bolts onto the flange on the differential which locates the prop-shaft longitudinally, with a bit of sliding movement allowed on the splines for suspension and engine movement. Come back to me if that is not what you were asking.
