Try to replace the window regulator. Sounds like worn out guide wheels.

Chevy impala 2008 rear windows won't roll down all

Most cars these days have this designed into the window system. Its a safety issue and I'm afraid there may nothing you can do. If there is more window track below the bottom of the glass, look for stops bolted or rivited in the track. If so, you may be able to move them down. However, this is dependent upon the drive mechanism, which may also limit window travel.

If the buzzing is sound is coming from the doors, then the motors are going bad. If the buzzing sounds like it's from under the hood, then check the relay switch and see if it went bad and needs to be replaced.

Drivers side electric window will not roll up.

I had this problem on my 2002 Impala. It seems that it is fairly common to have to replace the driver's side electric window switches. I got myself a new aftermarket one from Ebay and then took my old one apart and fixed it. I then sold the "new" switch back on Ebay. Ebay switches are about $40-50 for the "cheap" aftermarket ones. Don't bother getting a used one. I recall that an OEM GM switch is $80-100.

It does sound like you have a short in the master switch on the drivers side. If the passengers switch does not work, check the left master switch and the window lock switch.

2005 chevy impala rear driver power window stopped going up.stuck

If neither switch works it is a bad connection at the motor or bad ground or a bad motor. Remove the door panel unplug the motor push the switch and see if there is 12volts on the wires if there is the motor is bad There are small brushes in the motor that go bad tap on the motor while pushing the switch if it works that way replace it

Possible window fuse blown?

if the fuse is blown none of the windows will work,it sound wierd but all the power to the window motors runs through the drivers side switch. the drivers side switch may be your culprit.to be sure check to see if you have power goin in to the other switches before you replace the drivers side switch.
