Change the flex hose. it is collapsing inside so fluid can't return to master cylinder.

I changed the master cylinder in my 1998 Mercury Villager and the brake still goes all the way down.

If there is a bleeder at the master cyl. you will need to bleed it as well as the wheels. If still no pedal you have a leak pulling air into the system.

1999 mercury villager front drivers side brake caliber locks up replaced caliper and rotor already

Could be collapsed rubber brake hose on drivers front brake. Inside of hose has collapsed like a flap gate and brake fluid can not return to master.

Brakes

usually when this happens its caused by the caliber being push beyond its normale operating range or contaminated brake fluid. you should change the brake caliper and flush the brake lines with brake cleaner then bleed the system with new brake fluid

I have a 95 Villager with Anti Lock Brakes. I replaced the Pads, Calipers, Shoes and Front Brake lines. I bled the brakes according to the repair manual but, the brake light is on and the pedal still goes...

The brake bleed may not have been successful. Always bleed the right rear brake first then the left. Next the front right and then the left. If you are using someone to work the brake pedal make sure they hold it down until you have closed the bleed nipple. Make sure you use a little hose on the nipple and into a jar with fluid in it to watch for the bubbles to stop. Make sure the master cylinder always has enough fluid in it.
There is a brake bleeding kit that can be bought, this makes the job a lot easier.

Wheel getting hot on 96 mecury villager

This is caused by the caliper not releasing all the way. When this happes it is caused by the brake hose going to the caliper. Replace both sides. They deteriorate from the inside and clog up, thus not letting the brake fluid to flow back.

Make sure the brake hoses are not colasped and holding pressure on the brake liners, and if the hoses are fine, then replace the master cylinder.
