The coolant is circulated in the engine and then to the radiator to cool it before entering the same cycle again. On the passenger side the passenger side the coolant is pumped into the engine by a small pump which too is located on that side. Are you absolutely sure that there is no leak while running? A symptom which can help is to check/measure the level of the coolant in the radiator before taking the car out. Run for min 10 miles, again check the level after the engine cools a bit, say 5 min. I am confident that a small difference will detected. Now there are 2 hose pipes, one from the radiator bottom to the pump and one from pump to engine. In newer models the pump is inside the engine & therefore not visible, hence only 1 hose pipe. The leak has to be in this place, most likely the Hose pipe which might have cracked or damaged somehow or because of normal wear & Tear of the vehicle. Change both hose pipes, one at the bottom and one on the top part of the radiator. As a thumb rule never replace just one but both. If it still leaks then get the Radiator thoroughly checked after removing it from the car and test under mild water pressure. If there are any leak in the Radiator tubing, repair by soft welding(gas welding). The are the only rwo possible place from where the coolant is leaking

youll have to undue your motor mounts and raise that side of the engine this should give you enough clearance to get a wrench in to loosen it up.

Leaking coolent by oil pan

The 3.1 liter V-6 engines in several GM models had problems with the intake manifold gaskets leaking coolant, between the intake manifold and the top of the engine block, due to faulty gaskets. There was a class action suit on this problem, but I don't remember the time parameters. I know it's about 6 or 7 hundred bucks to have it repaired at a GM dealership. Good luck.

Big coolant leak under passanger side

From your information it sounds like the water pump is bad. The coolant is running down the engine and dripping off of the oil pan.
