    hi,
Thanks for your reply but actually the battery is just three months old and light which is on is service engine soon which I suspect that oxygen sensor is causing the problem. But I'm not really sure about it. OBD displays PO132 Bank1 sensor1 circuit high voltage and PO171 Bank1 too lean, PO440 Evap code.

    Thanks,
    andrie

Hi..
Disassemble and clean the carb, particularly the jets. I suspect the charge light being on is a result of your destroyed battery, which needs to be replaced. Sta-bil over the winter and a smart trickle charger will prevent the problems you are having in the future...

thank u

Take your Envoy to a competent mechanic and have it checked for OBD codes, etc. Otherwise, you are just replacing parts at random without identifying and solving the real problem(s).

2002 Ford Taurus, runs okay till come to stop then cuts-off

The most common reason for engine stall is a dirty throttle body or a faulty idle air control valve.
The computer controls idle speed by how much air enters the intake.

04 gmc envoy randomly shuts off. it does it when your at a stop light and about to proceed. it seems like it wants to stall (its a automatic) but either will shut off or it'll proceed but really slow....

Read the codes off of the engine computer with an obd-II scanner. If it's missing and shaking as badly as you say, then there probably are codes stored in the engine computer that can point you in the right direction.

2002 envoy stalled going down road started right back up but had no speedometer wouldnt shift and abs and brake light came on

I had same problem with 2005 Envoy XL 4.2L
After several trips to dealer with "No problem found"....I finally found a technician that determined my ignition switch was intermittently not reading the security chip in the key.
Replaced ignition switch and problem never re-occurred.

2004 Envoy xl stalls when making turns

this is caused by slow engine idle speed, do the procedure below.
Here is the common cause of surges, stalls at stops, slow idle speed, erratic idle speed, rough idle and engine hesitation (and other problems), it is in most cases the idle speed control air-bypass valve and or throttle valve and upper intake, these area's get full of gunk and combustion residue over the miles and cause idle issues (stalls, low idle) like yours, Get a can of intake cleaner from any local parts store, not carb spray, intake cleaner, it is made by a company called CRC, remove the air intake hose to the engine, hold the idle high so the engine won't stall, then spray the can of cleaner into the intake while keeping the engine running, use at least 1/2 the can, shut down the engine and disconnect the battery for 5 minutes, then restart and complete a number of mixed driving cycles, town, freeway, stop and go etc., after a few days the problem will go away as the system will relearn to the clean intake.
