Get it to the local AAMCO. they are experts on transmissions.

You would need transmission tools and a transmission dolly, also possibly need to lift the engine too...

AAMCO (Phx,AZ,I-17 & Dunlap) Is not my choice, ripped my warranty co. off. My Jeep TJ had rear diff let loose.Towed to AAMCO, waited full week to find they "inspected" the rear end, looked good, 5spd manual trans needed rebuilt. (at 60,000miles) TOLD them they are wrong. 2 weeks go by, they inform me of the need for a second claim on Warranty....Rear differential ring gear and pinion... Blown apart! I went 23 days w/out the truck, and got it back with Oil & Grease everywhere! Be careful!

New fluid in trans.slips before first gear

run hot for 10 minutes then recheck fluid level with engine running
and use owners manual or on dipstick to find out if it needs to be in gear. sometimes the torq converter drains and you need more oil to refill.
