I just purchased an F-350 and the windows will not work from the panel on the driver's side door. They will work from the individual door.My Ford F-350 Drivers Side window switch allows control over all the windows except the drivers door. It just quit today. I took it apart and see that the drivers side is burnt out... Now what can I do as the window won't close and I can't find the part online.

Re: driver's side electric window panel
Hi,It has to be a bad master window switch. See power and ground is supplied thru the master window switch to the other switches. When you press the switch it is routing the power and ground to the window motor. For instance in the up position at the motor the left wire may be hot and the right ground and in the down position it will be opposite. So if they are working from the individual doors then the wiring has to be good and the switch has just lost it's ability to route it where it needs to go. please rate my suggestion....

The odds of both switches going bad at the same time is high, remove the door panel and tap on the window motor with a hammer, while trying the switches. I may have jammed up. Ground a test light and check the motor connection, while trying the switch, power will show on either side depending on if it turning up or down
The door panel will have to come off. check for a bad motor or wiring to motor, or a bad drivers side switch. check the fuses first! and is the drivers side window locked on drivers side, just push the unlock window from the master controls on drivers side to see if it works. on my car, the drivers side window would not work. I accidentally hit the window lock with my arm. God-Bless!
The fuse is not the problem there is no driver side fuse it is prob the connection where the wiring connects to the window up and down switch. You have to remove the door panel careful not to tear the sound deadener sheeting. You have to first remove the screws and pry the retaining clips with a special trim panel removal tool U can purchase from auto parts store, work slowly and carefully around the outer edge of the trim panel until its free. Then clean the connections between the wiring contacts. Reverse to reinstall door panel trim. Hope that Helps

Remove the door panel and disconnect the motor from the window, but leave it plugged in. See if the motor works. If it does you should grease the tracks on the window. If the motor does not work then you should replace the motor. The motor will probably get hot when you try working it.
is it electric windows? if it has electric windows does the passenger window roll up using the switch for it on the passenger door panel? if it works on the passenger door panel and not on the driver's door panel , then your switch on the drivers door panel is bad... replace it.
The first thing you should do is swap the passenger switch in place of the drivers switch and then see if the window now works. If so then you need a new drivers side switch. It may be clicking but it may not be working.
If it still doesn't work then you need to get your hands on a volt meter and get back to me.
You need to remove the drivers door panel and investigate the window mechanism, it sounds asthough its sticking.
