Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

bank one 02 is on cylinder 1 side.
some in line 6 engines have split exhaust manifold.

ill try go get this info, guessing all the above.

the inline engine, bank one sensor 1 is that sensor closest to
cylinder one or the cylinder closeset to the crank shaft pulley.

ok I looked in the USA FSM online
and sure there is a I6 with s split man, with 2 CATS/
got 2 CATS, right>?
that is your confusion, id bet.
so bank 1 is closed to cylinder 1
bank 2 is closed to cylinder 4.
Pulley, 1,2,3, 4,5,6
no mater what Suzuk BODY or driveline this engine fits.
Bank 1 is at the CRANK SHAFT END PULLEY.

Hello, Where is the Cam position sensor located on a 2004 Nissan maxima bank 1 located?

3.5litre V6 Front wheel drive, the cam position sensor is in the back of the cylinder head above the transmission. bank one is the front bank, nearest to the grill. the cam sensor is held into the head with a 10mm bolt, has one wireing connector with 3 wires in it. the sensor is sort of round with a leg off one side for the bolt the secure.
may need to remove the engine cover to see it. it is held down with allen key bolts.
