Question about 1995 Chevrolet Blazer

Will a 95 blazer tranny fit my 96 blazer

I have a 1996 4.3 blazer bad trany. would a 1995 4.3 blazer tranny fit into my 96. the 95 has a bad transfur case but the one in my 96 is fine so will this work or not. if not what years will fit my 96.

You should have no problem their pretty much the same tranny meaning that there both automatics with or without o/d or 4x4s.

th 350/th400/700r4/4L60e transmissions will all bolt up. the (th) series only has three speeds. and the others have four.the 4L60e may need a stand alone computer as it was designed for use with the o.b.d.II diagnostic system

Yes it will but your going to have to also transplant the ECM. The change off years to the Blazers are 1992 to 1995 and interchangeable, 1995 being the odd ball year for the 4.3, and in 1996 to 2002 are all drive-train interchangeable. Good luck and keep me posted if you have any more questions.

if ur car is auto transmission there is 2 hoses come from the tranny to this fittings to cool the trany oil . but if u dont have stick shift u dont have todo anything with this fittings

i dont think these will interchange but you can call a auto recycler and ask just to be sure they have interchange book

95-94-93 4.3 vortec are compatable engines. 97 4.3 will fit but will have problems with sensors and computer
