Question about 2000 Buick LeSabre
When I activate my checkmate alarm it does not make any noise. It seems like there is just a factory alarm on my car. The doors lock/unlock and the lights flash like a standard factory alarm, but there is no noise letting me know the alarm is active or un-active. Is there a code I put in by mistake to make the alarm silent if so, can you let me know so I can fix it.
Is your perhaps alarm in "valet mode"? I've got a Checkmate on my Honda, and I can turn valet mode on/off by putting the key to Accessory, then pushing the black button under the left of the steering wheel. The alarm chirps when you switch the mode.
