Question about 2004 Chevrolet Venture Passanger
Last July 2007, I bought my 2004 van second hand with 85K km from a car dealer, after one month I had to do a complete A/C replacement US$ 1,900, which includes the compressor, receiver, evaporator, filter and controller for passengers. After a week I had to change the Radiator and it's fan $550 because of overheating which didn't solve the overheating problem the temp still flactuates between mid and red signes. Noticed a noisy RF wheel bearing and when brakes applied seems to have little pressure. Mashing pedal as hard as possible only makes van come to a slow long stop. Auto transmission shifting deleys between 2nd and 3rd gear. Hard to shift from Parking to 1st gear if going down hell. Left Slide door latch not working by remote, passenger window not going down by passenger switch but only by driver switch. Same GM Dealer asks for US$8200 to fix van
That is a rip off.
A new and more recent car would be better off.
Sell this one and get a replacement instead of spending $8200 for repairs which will not likely end there.
Let the dealer sell it off or trade it in for you.
