The car shifts really hard from 2nd to 1st when slowing down. also it dies every no and again, then you have to let it sit there for about 5 minutes and then it starts.
The transmission control module is adaptable. This is a real common complaint with the A604. You need to take the vehicle to a shop with a scan tool and have the TCM ran through a quick learn adaptive reset procedure. The dying problem is likely a bad crank sensor
