Follow your a/c lines, you will see a blue cap. Charge at that point.

Your charge port is on top of the receiver dryer (metal canister). If I remember correctly, on the focus you need to remove the plastic cover inside the passenger wheel well to gain access. The blue cap is there, unless someone removed it and didn't replace it. You charge on the low pressure side, and your hose will only fit the low pressure side.

1986 Pontiac Fiero. What has to be done to be able to use R-134 refrigerant?

There are simple conversion kits that basically just replace the service ports to use the r-134 type hoses, but it is best to have a pro evacuate system and flush it, draw a vacuum, add correct oil and freon. If the system has been empty or dead a while, best to replace dryer and orifice tube or expansion valve as well.

Ford focus se how to repair

invest in a can with a gague of 134A at auto zone it will have the filler hose on it. Attach it to your low pressure side line .it will only fit on the low pressure side. (if you cant find low pressure line on car google (where is low pressure line for AC Ford focus) check your gauge if low on R134A add some from can .If all is ok check ac fuse. if nothing works after makeing sure system is full of 134A check if your compressor is working. usually it just needs to be recharged.

Where is the suction service port on the 2000 ford focus lx and do you need a special fitting other than 134a gauges

it's the smaller of the two ports, low pressure, and no 134a will work, unless you have r12 in the system. you can get a retrofit kit at the parts store

I want to recharge ac on 2001 focus ford

134A is the freon you need and to find the port follow the lines from the condensor back toward the engine and you should find the connection for the charge hose and make sure you have gloves and safety glasses on and try to see if they have your car listed for diagrams pictures and step by step instructions if your car is not listed then try your local library they have all the car manuals and even copy them for you
