Loosen the wheel nuts slightly. Raise the front of the vehicle, and make sure it is securely supported.
Remove the front wheel and tire from front hub.
Remove the split pin, then remove castle nut and washer from the front hub while applying the brake.
Remove the caliper mounting bolts, and hang the caliper assembly to one side. To prevent damage to the caliper assembly or brake hose, use a short piece of wire to hang the caliper from the undercarriage.

I can't remove the rotors from my 2005 kia sorento. I removed brake stuff. There are 2 phillups head screws on rotor but can't get them out. do they need to be removed? If so how.

Changing the brake pads can be done without removing the calipers. However to take off the rotor, the calipers needs to be out. The 2 Phillips screws are to hold it in the place, but to access the rotor, it has to be through the calipers. Good luck.

How do I remove front rotors from a 2003 hyundai elantra

First jack the front end up. Then remove the wheels. Then remove the calipers. Then the rotors should fall right off the car into your hands. They are not pressed on or hubs

You need to remove the calipers and then the caliper mounts.Once that has been done then you just need to remove the rotors from the hub,it may take some hammering or even some heat but they will come off if you are persistant enough.

Removal of rotor of 05 honda accord

first you need to remove the wheel. if its the rear rotor, then its easy to do. all you need to do is remove the 2 bolts holding the brake caliper on, then remove the 2 bolts holding the caliper mounting bracket. after those are removed, the rotor should just slide right off. if your removing the front, then follow the previous steps, but also use a large socket to remove the big nut right in the center of the rotor.after that is done, it should slide off easily.

Hyundai 2005 Elantra cv boot replacement instructions.

There are no instructions available except with the purchase of SOME boot kits. Depending on the CV joint design, you may not be able to remove the joint from the axle. However, most Hyundai CV joints can be removed from the axle by using a drift and a 2 pound hammer to knock the joint off the axle. Once you've done this, it's a simple matter of removing the old boot and installing the new one w/fresh grease and tension bands. Otherwise, you have to remove the DOJ from the other end of the axle and replace the boot that way.

you need to remove the trim pannel parallel to the mirror on the inside of the vehicle, normally triangle shaped, from there there will be 3-4 nuts or bolts you need to remove, once that is done the mirror will be free to be removed.
