My 01 Nissan Altima overheated because of a broken heater hose. Now my car won't start.

When a car overheats it can do serious damage to the engine internals, including completely seizing the engine. It is common for overheating to blow a head gasket which would explain the bad starting. Unless you know how to diagnose these issues, you will need to take it to a repairer for an assessment. Be prepared for some very bad news.

No spark to motor when starting

your problem is between your starter and your ignition and it most likely is something to do with your ignition coils even if they are not misfiring and check out your wiring harness that leads to the ignition system. could have a short.
