Loosen the tensioner pulley adjusting bolt under the power steering pump.

No, just use it to tighten the belt, then tighten the through bolt (or nut) on the pulley. Once the pulley is tight the adjusting bolt becomes irrelevant.

Remove clutch fan dodge dakpta 4.7

This one does require a tool to loosen the fan clutch from the water pump shaft. Part of the tool holds the pulley and the other part is spanner wrench used to loosen the clutch. An important note on these fan clutches: Once you have the fan clutch off DO NOT let it lay with the rear side of the fan pointing downward as the silicone fluid that provides the "clutch" action can drain into the bearing and cause the clutch not to work. Once you have the clutch off just lean the fan and clutch against something so it is standing upright just as it is when it's bolted to the water pump until you are ready to put it back on. Hope this helps you out a bit!

2001 Saturn SL1 serpantine belt change

This is an easy job. I found that it is easier if you have someone help you. Raise and support vehicle and remove pass. tire & inner fender splash shields. There are two clips ( one on each half ). Once the shields are removed you can access the tensioner easily ( 14mm ). There should be a diagram of how the belt is routed on the rad. support.Hold back the tensioner and remove the old belt. Install is reverse of removal.

Serpantine belt broke

there is usally a diagram on either the hood or the radiator core support. now to loosen something there is a idler pulley with a 3/8" drive end in the center of it that will allow you to move the pulley against the tensioner to put the belt on
