Question about 1998 Subaru Forester

Emergency lights stuck and won't shut off

I came out to my 1998 Subaru Forester and the emergency lights were blinking by theirself. The switch will not shut off so I had to undo the fuse. Now I have no horn or turn signals since I can't leave my emergency lights on 24/7. Any suggestions.

Suspect faulty flasher relay. Relay is somewhat like an "On/Off" switch. If it fails, it will stick ON or your cause it is ON allowing the hazard lamps to work continuosly without enabling the hazard switch. If the relay is tested good then replace hazard switch.

Had a test drive with a 2005 Subaru Forester.....When I break it feels like it's pulsating....Is that normal? Seller said that it was because of ABS

If on anything less than an emergency stop, it would be warped brake disks. They are easy enough to replace. I had an Outback develop that. They are about $65 a pair from Autozone

ABS will pulse the brakes in a full-on emergency stop.

Why do my parking lights continuously flash. Slower than emergency lights. I can't turn off flashing, even when engine turned off and key removed.

There are separate flashers for directional and emergency lights so they might not flash at the same rate.

1998 forester awd, running lights will not turn off after car is shut off.

Most Subarus have a switch on the top of the steering column that you usually can't see that allows you to leave your running lights on since most Subarus have the auto off lights. You should just have to switch that and it will be fine.
