After having the car detailed last week, the air bag light stays on all the time. Could there be something unpluged?

It is possible something got bumped or unplugged. Look under the front seats to make sure everything is plugged in. The airbag connectors are colored yellow.

Abs light on

You need to have the codes scanned to see where the problem lies. It could be as simple as dirt in a sensor, an unplugged sensor, or something more expensive like an ABS pump or control module. If you don't have a scanner, many auto parts stores will scan your codes.

Your brakes will still function but you may not have ABS kick in when braking.

Sounds like it could be a problem with the ignition switch. Does the vehicle stall or keep running? Do the lights go out or do the stay on until you cycle the key? Have you tried Turing the key a little back and forth when this happens to see if the problem goes away?

OBD11tech thinks I have a bad clock spring on my 1999 jeep cherokee classic due to my horn not working & the air bag light stays on. Where is the clock spring & how do I change it?

it's inside the steering wheel
must be careful, because of the air bag.
disconnect the battery and wait for 10 minutes for the air bag capacitor to discharge power.
remove the air bag module from the steering wheel
remove the center nut, then steering wheel
the clock pring is a yellow round piece that fitted inside the steering column. there is a snap ring hold the clock spring in place. disconnect the wiring then remove the clock spring.

I have a 2000 jeep cherokee that i bought that had both air bags blown the truck hit a ditch but has no body damage i replaced both air bags but now when you turn on the ignition the air bag light comes...

Something is wrong with the SRS. This is not a DIY repair. Take it to a professional for repair. They will reset the light after repairing it. Otherwise the air bag may not deploy in an accident or may deploy at any moment. Don't take the risk. Get this fixed

1997 Jeep Cherokee air bag light on

The air bag light has come on to alert you to a system problem. Do not try to service it yourself. If you try to disconnect the system and don't know what you are doing you will deploy the air bag which can hurt you depending on your position in the vehicles interior at the time. Do the correct thing and let your dealer perform diagnosis on the system. If you deploy the air bag it will be a ver costly item to replace. Usually in excess of $1800.00 just to purchase one.

Are you using the seatbelts?
The airbag light is on because there is a problem with the system.
PLEASE do not try to fix the airbag problem yourself.
You could accidently activate the bag and get hurt.
