One of your a/c vacum lines is broken its from your intake manifold to a/c line.open your hood and look towards the drivers side on the manifold from the middle you should see a 1/8 air line it runs towards the passenger front.

If you can turn and change the vents to dash and to the defrost mode and it changes from vent to vent and not the floor you will have a bad valve in the system or something is caught in it.which means that valve to the vent has a broken vacum line or its stuck like something could of got caught in there and not letting it open. This is a tuff job to figure out unless you can get a squematic on the system.Besides the fact that you would hav to remove the bottom part of your dash to get a good look at it.

My 1999 buick park avenue a/c will blow out at window vent and floor vent but not at dash vent

It's one of the blend door motor drive gears that has cracked. As the motors try to move the blend doors to divert the air flow, the gear attached to them slips on the drive shaft. You need to remove them, inspect for the broken or cracked drive gear and replace them. This is a very common problem with these older GM vehicles.

1999 tahoe wont blow air out dash vents

my issue at the moment is that the linkage (control arms) have come apart. it looks like there's a part missing from between the two control arms. there's a small electric motor with one arm and another arm that controls a flap somewhere that shifts the air flow between floor and up top. both of these control arms have a square hole in the ends and i don't see a way for them to be reconnected. so i'm assuming that there's a part missing.

What is a blender/ it is suposed to a part of the heater area

The "blender" would refer to the blend actuators that change the flow of air from floor to vent to defrost or combinations. Properly working blend doors will allow you to direct air to the dash vents, the floor, the defroster, the floor and defroster or the floor and dash vents. If it is not working the heater will still work but you will hae no control oer where the air flows.

Dash air flow problem

This could be a couple of different things. It could be the control head itself, an actuator inside the dash, or the blend door, or the blend door motor itself. The first thing I would do is turn the air on, put my ear close to a vent and move the switches on the control from floor to dash to vent. if you can hear any clicking at all you know it is not the control head. In that case, you mnay have to take the dash apart to go any further, and if youve never done this before I would not recommend it.

1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Automatic air works but after about 10-15 minutes the air flow only comes out the floor, even though it should be out the dash vents.

Check under your hood for a vacuum leak. There is probably a broken loose or cracked line somewhere. Use a length of fuel line held to your ear, and with the engine running, listen for a hissing sound. Wiggle all the hoses around as you are listening.

No dashboard heat output

The climate control was poorly designed on these cars.

There is only heat on the floor and defrost settings, due to the layout of the ductwork.
