Question about Hyundai Motor 2003 Elantra
When i drive my car going about 50 -60 mph. my car hesitates and slows down i am going to replace the spark plugs and oil change i think it is the fuel filter. but i do not know where it is located on vehicle . please help
The fuel filter is in the gas tank with the fuel pump - it's actually a 'SOCK' that filters fuel before it enters the pump. Odds are it's not the filter. Odds are you have a Throttle Position Sensor which is going bad (bad spots in the potentiometer). Erratic resistance changes sending BAD signals to the Engine Control Module and Transmission Control Module ECU & TCM. A good technician knows how to check it with an analog ohm meter.
