DATA:
7K (wiki)
The 1.8 L (1,781 cc) 7K was first introduced in 1983. Cylinder bore was 80.5 mm (3.17 in) and stroke was 87.5 mm (3.44 in). Output was 80 hp (60 kW) at 4600 RPM and 103 lb·ft (139 N·m) at 2800 Was available with a 5 speed manual & 4 speed automatic transmission. Available in both fuel injected and carburetted configurations, the 7K produces much more power and torque compared to the other K engines however it is a lot less 'rev happy' due to having such a large stroke.
7K is available in KR42 Townace SBV vans (1997-2007) using a large G52 5 speed gearbox (Same bellhousing to box pattern as W55), or automatic.

Hi, I just bought a used 2000 Sebring JXI convertible w/ an auto trans. Everything seemed fine until driving home and we noticed that the RPMs when they hit 4k would suddenly jump to 7k and stay there...

Definitely get the transmission checked ASAP. Could be something simple like new transmission fluid is needed or something more complicated like slipping gears.

My husband as 2003 z71 4x4 with 5.3 engine. We just bought 94 16ft Stock trailer can this truck hold up to hauling horses or cattle ?

how many horses/cattle? it will pull around 7k-8k pounds with little problems over that and you will be straining transmission. this is also assuming flat land if in mountains wouls be less weight

Is the Denso W16 EXR-U plug recommended for Toyota 7K-E engine? Appreciate your assistance.

2-4K`s runs on em, but im pretty sure the 5-7K (E or U indicates dishtop piston/head AND plugs;) use to use a "warmer" plug, because Toyota switched em from points to electronic pickup/dissy/coil.

How often I have change the oil from the diferencial

Depends on driving conditions, highway or city driving?
Depends on what type oil you are running in the car synthetic normally goes longer between intervals. If you are driving mostly city with regular oil would recomend changing the oil every 3 to 4K miles.
If you are using synthectic you can go 5 to 7K

Driving 65 MPH and engine rpm goes to 7K. Not in O.D. light comes

sound to me like it maybe a faulty sensor in the transmission. take your car to someone with an ODB reader and see if a transmission fault is indicated. you may have to take your car to a transmission shop.

Error code po113

the error P0113 still comes up even after a new sensor was installed and the transmission shifts very hard. Found a break in one of the wires to the sensor. Soldered it back to gether. Found that the engine has a limit to the rpm when rev-ing in neutral.
Thanks
