Question about 2004 Volkswagen Jetta
The switch on my driver door has gone bad and the car thinks the door is always open. Is there a way to disable the audible warning for the door open and the lights on until I can get this fixed?
Go into the fuse box and remove the interior light fuse.there is a dome over ride so the interior lights do not come on when the door is open on most cars ,it is usually with the dash attenuator switch that controls the instrument cluster.the other option is to remove the door switch and short the two wires together
