Question about 1998 Ford Escort
The car was working fine. turned the a/c on it seemed to work ok. parked at work. after work, I started the car and got a strange noise. it seems to me that the a/c compressor is going bad. maybe the clutch? what do you think? all other engine indications are normal. I did notice that with the a/c off the line from the accumulator was cold.
Ac clutch is not working fine, ac compressor is staying on even though when you turn it off, check clutch and also check freon level it migh be causing the problem
