Try recycling the key, start the vehicle, put it in drive or reverse, then back to park, does key come out. If not there is some type of power loss at the ignition switch solenoid. Had this happen to another chevy, the battery was dead due to a short in the electric windows and couldnt release the key until 12 volts was appied to the battery.

I agree with BB1BUD, when you slammed the shifter into park you may have accidentally broke the switch on the shifter, so now the key is stuck.

I locked my keys in my 2007 trail blazer how can i unlock it

Your local police department may have a "slim-jim" tool that can unlock it.
Other than that, you will need to secure the services of a locksmith. God bless your efforts.

My 2004 trail blazer won't shift out of park and button is hard to press

Could be a faulty brake switch or shift lock solenoid.

Trail blazer gear shift button

Could be the brake switch or the shift lock solenoid. You may be able to turn the key lock to the unlock position, move the shifter out of park, then start the engine in neutral.
The shifter and the shift lock solenoid would need to be inspected.

Hard to go from park to drive

You need to check the brake circuit with a meter.
The brake switch signals the shift lock solenoid to release.
It could be the brake switch, or the solenoid, or a bad connection.
You should be able to turn the key switch to unlock but not on, and shift out of park.

Ignition switch will not turn on. Battery is good. Steering wheel is locked, What should we do?

Quite often that will happen when vehicle parked with wheels turned, and/or vehicle on a slope, so try to avoid that in future. If nothing else, when parked on a slope, stop, keep foot on brake pedal, apply parking brake, put transmission in neutral, then take foot off brake pedal and wait for parking brake to stop vehicle rolling, then shift it into park. When leaving, put foot on brake pedal, shift to drive or reverse whatever direction your going, then release parking brake. Sounds like a lot to remember but you won't have to pull hard on shifter as before, and it could save a lot of money on transmission repairs down the road. Always try to park with wheels straight as well.
Now, with that said, if you parked with wheels turned, try hard to turn steering wheel in same direction wheels are turning, just slightly, as you try to turn key. Sometimes a quick yank in that direction will do it. Also make sure shifter is all the way in park before you try it. If your on a slope try rocking vehicle slightly up slope as you push/pull shift lever in to park and try to turn key at same time. If no luck, try pushing brake pedal real hard and try to turn key. Let me know how it goes.

2006 Trail Blazer . . Key will not turn ignition. Yes the key is in right and in all the way. Tried pressing the brake and jerking steering wheel right and left. Still doesn't turn . . .

Have the shifter linkage checked. Sometimes the linkage gets damaged or loose and doesn't go all the way into park. This can keep the keep the key from turning.

I have a trail blazer. i started it and it will

Check the shift interlock, it is designed to keep the vehical in park until the brake is depressed. Try turning the steering wheel (both ways if necessary) as you turn key to remove it

Shiter

couple things apply brake when shifting out of non running vehicle or you should be able to with key still on the on position with engine not running apply brake shift down to nuetral then start vehicle up with applied brake shift into park

if this isnt working then inside key cylinder the k.c. pin that locks the column is broke or wore down you should be able to at least get the blazer into neutral to shift out back to park

under neith the blazer there is a saftey shift module that if this is worn it wont let you shift or you can shift with dead engine and no brake applied this might need to be replaced by tranny tech

the other way to unshift the shiter is have a buddy with you this is a little finness in what i say next
chock the wheels from rolling on a hill disengage the saftey brake now start pushing on the vehicle with engine off back and forth this disengages the 4x4 locked hubs gotta roll back a little but be sure not to let vehicle run over buddy

these are just a couple things off the top of my head that i can think of since im not actually there to see in person i hope this helped
