Probably you have a valve body problem liquid leaking you need to clean valve body and replace gasket

My ford explorer 1996 gauge would drop below 500rpm when i step on the break to stop and engine vibrate, rpm will return back to 800 once I shift to neutral. Please advise what's wrong.

If you have a vacuum assisted brake then check the brake booster for failure allowing air into the mixture and running the engine lean. Simple test allow the engine to idle in neutral. If ok then place your foot on the brake and if it changes then it is the booster . Replace with serviceable unit.

I have a 1989 bronco XLT 4x4 with a 351w auto trans. I just bought this vehicle 2 days ago. The guy i bought it from had the ****** rebuilt, but its not under warrenty anymore. My transmition shifts...

The transmission builder could have done some shift improvement to make it do that. Shift/rebuild kits can have different levels, stock, street and strip or hauling for instance.

1996 explorer sport v6 manual trans. clutch is 1 year old but very hard to shift and slips badly..had the clutch bleed but machanic said no air in line..in gear at a stop if i take foot of brake and keep...

i think that either your a very bad driver on a manual box or you had a dodgy rebuilt clutch fitted by some back street garage and chances are its the latter

1998 ford f150 xlt floor shift wont move to shift to 4 wheel low or high

your going to have to get under it to see if it is gummed up. Spray penetrating oil liberally on those connecting rods and try to move it. Remember,,,,no matter what your manual says or the dealer that squawks about 4 wheel on the fly... come to a stop, put it in neutral then shift in to 4 wheel.

How do i put my 4x4 on my 95 yukon......on park or neutral. and do i have to put my foot on the brake?

You can shift between 2Hi and 4Hi when the truck is moving. Just let off the gas and shift it. But in order to shift to Neutral or 4Lo you need to stop the truck and shift the transmission into neutral then shift the transfer case.
