How to remove evaporator on 1989 buick lesabre ?

You will have to remove the dash and the heat/air box to get to the evaporator core. Not a job for the un-experienced.

To replace the AC Evaporator core you must remove the dash from the car, a very complicated job, a factory manual is not an option here. You can access the factory manuals for a fee at this site, it is what shops use. The job takes about 12 hours at home.

2005 LeSabre check engine light on due to evaporative emissions

Finding a leak in these emission systems is almost impossible.
All it takes is a pin hole in a hose to screw up the whole system.
The best way to find the leak is to take and have a smoke test done on it. Smoke is injected into the system and where ever the leak is , the smoke will leak out of it. It's faster and more reliable then replacing hoses and other things you don't need. Call dealers, or repair shops to see who does smoke tests.

1994 buick roadmaster, oil leaking out of right rear axle, checked brake fluid is full, could it be differential oil leak @ end of axle??

If what you see leaking is very oily and does not evaporate, likely it is an axle seal. If there are no leaks in the brake system, that's the only thing back there that can leak. If the axle bearing is going away, it can damage the seal so make sure you look for small shiny metal flakes behind the seal when you replace it or you will be doing the job again very soon. Can't remember...that IS rear wheel drive right?

My buick is releasing steam vapor though the vest and is leaking in the car from the dash, what could it be? and also it is leaking from underneth the passenger side.

Your heater core needs to be replaced. It's located on the passenger side , under the dash. The heater core is like a small radiator. Coolant from the engine is circulated through it, and that is what provides heat in the car. The heater core is leaking, causing the 'vapor' through the vents, and leaking on the carpet on the passenger side. Heater cores are a pain to remove and replace, it's quite a labor intensive job.

Air won't switch to defrost vents

This system works with vacuum control doors. If you have a vacuum hose off under your hood it will cause this problem. Look on the passenger side near the evaporator - there should be a little round plastic bulb looking device - make sure it has vacuum to it. Also, check for other vacuum leaks in that area.

97 buick skylark ac evaporator core what do i need to do to get to it

Did you replace the schrader valves (the thing in the inside of the A/C service fittings, you need a special tool to remove and install them) before you recharged the system? They are notorious for leaking if they are old.

If you did not, replace those and try again, if it leaks out again with no evidence you most likely have a bad evap core.

And yes, it's a pain in the ****, plan on it taking a 30 pack of bud light and a weekend to do, or one day and a 12 pack if you are good. Just start taking the dash apart, and may the force be with you. It will be behind the glove box
