Question about 1996 Chrysler Cirrus
30 degrees outside, the car will not move until I start it and let it warm up for about 15 minutes.
I also have a 1996 cirrus....was having a problem with idle and sputtering when warm.... that 1.5 ft metal tube on the right of the upper intake manifold and the little port that it is connecting the metal tube and the manifold>>>CLEAN THAT<<<it has a build up of carbon.
I think that is part of the emission sensor ...check egr sensor??
what i did was chipped the carbon away from the manifold port, then vacummed manifold out buy removing the air hoses on top the motor, opening the carb intake and vacummed with a shop vac through the manifold port, with the hose i soaked it in gas for 1/2 hour then blew it out with a compressor....worked like a charm and runs like a bat out of hell now !!
email me if that worked for you

Wrong tranny fluid and oil. change both to your climate rating specs which you find in the owners manual.
