Have you had your radiator flushed lately. It might need to be flushed out or add coolant. The other thing might be that the thermostat needs to be sticking and needs to be replaced.........Thank You for using )

Overheating: 1999 bmw 323i m series 2.5 ..Installed: new water pump , thermostat. radiator, new Water Reservoir, cap.. hose on top side hot , lower hose cold even when engine is water circulating at...

the water pump and thermostat should have solved it. an air pocket can cause that but usually not to that degree.

don't get one of those cheap *** plastic impeller water pump for sissies. Get the metal impeller one. get a cool running thermostat and drill two 3/16" holes in it 180 degreess from each other. you may have installed the t-stat backwards.

I have a bmw 323i 1999 that just lost the radiater how much dos it cost with a certified mecanic and none certified

You don't have to be certified to replace a radiator. Call Advance, Autozone, 1-800-radiator. and get the price. Labor should be anywhere from 60-200 depending on what has to come off to get to the radiator.

sounds like there is not enough r134 coolant in the system and when your slowing down the compressor stops turning. Have someone add some coolant and you should be ok.

1999 BMW 323 convertible Radiator Replacement

BMW radiators are relatively cheap even at the dealer level ($250 approx), however BMW will almost certainly tell you that you must replace the thermostat. The thermostat is one of those parts that either works or not and if it has failed, you will know immediately after you test drive with the new rad. you should do that first before you waste more time and money on a thermostat you don't need. Most BMW's have a rad with a plastic upper hose connection and this fails - this is different than most other vehicles where the rad plugs up and the overheating prior to the final failure of the rad damages the thermostat
