2004 pt cruiser turbo idling and running roughly

The car starting idling roughly about a month ago has 95,000 miles on it the code p0304 came up misfire in cylinder 4 the autozone guys said it is probably spark plugs and wires so I replaced those, didn't help it, so they said probably the ignition coil was bad so we replaced that and it did not help, Another mechanic said it was probably a bad fuel injector so we replaced the number 4 fuel injector as well as the upper and lower intake manifold gaskets and now it seems to be running worse than ever while idling and runs rough and doggy until about 45mph. any suggestions before I bring to the shop

2004 pt cruiser turbo idling and running roughly - c99fd777-e303-4157-9a0b-18509a067e72.gif you would need to do a running test. but if its worse with new injector. then it can be the dispack fault. it feeds the spark plugs. have seen some were the unit has leaked. and made like a cement on the shaft that is the inside of it come out and dropped down the shaft. also the rubber will go white like water marks. check them to make sure they are the same if it does look like what ive said change it. they are not dear to replace.

2006 PT Cruiser turbo backfiring etc

Hello. It seems your PT Cruiser might have low fuel pump pressure. This will cause a backfire/misfire condition upon 'mild' acceleration. 'Gentle' acceleration, your car will run 'decent'. Good luck and keep me informed; if you want to.

what does this code tell you ? did you change air & fuel filters ? wonder how the MAF , MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR is working ? have you checked all vacumn lines ? gas smell can be from canister which recirculates fuel vapor to engine& tank . get a HAYNES repair manual, this will help you a great deal, its as simple as that ! it will also help you understand what all your sensors do., just do it !!!!!!!!!!!!!
