Question about 1990 Mazda 626
I feel like a moron, but I just took off the wheel cover on the driver's side rear tire to see if I had a lug wrench that would fit it, and I absolutely can not figure out how to get it back on. I've never had a car with a wheel cover before, and I just popped it off with a screwdriver. Please Help! Thanks, -Cory
It just pops back on. Make sure you line up the air valve with the hole in the cover and stick one edge in first and then give it a good whack on the opposite edge. In the tire shops they use a rubber mallet don't use a regular hammer or anything hard or you'll damage it. I use the outer edge of my fist and just hit it hard to pop it back on. Make sure you whack it good all the way round until it sits flush like the others. Or just throw it in your back seat and go to a tire shop they'll throw it on for free.
