Locked keys in 1999 lincoln town car executive and no keyless entry. can I gain entrance without an expensive locksmith?

Hello Jennifer Jackson...

No... even LINCOLN windows are harder to break
(sorry... your LINCOLN is pretty secure).

Worse... the best price I've paid to get a double sided
PATS (passive anti-theft system) key cut = $6.

Bring your own key... But this was all about the price of PREVENTING your current situation... (oops).

If your ONLY key is truly "inside"...
Your goose is pretty much cooked... The cost of
the LOCKSMITH is pretty trivial compared to your
alternatives... Dealers will zing you MUCH BETTER
than your "expensive locksmith"...

But what ever you do... (my recommendation)... Since
you prefer not to be prepared... (no door code or FOB)
Don't pass on the opportunity to have that same SMITHY
at least tell you about your door code POSSIBILITIES
or at least program a remote FOB for you ...

A RESPONSIBLE "expensive locksmith" will
explain the WISDOM of NEVER having less than 2 (TWO) transponder keys. (by reading your owners manual you can program the FOBs yourself (FREE).

How do you manage the "no" keyless entry...?
I remain pretty sure the number pad... & KEY FOB
(wireless transmitter) were standard equipment...

2 SPARE keys minimum... ALWAYS.

Would the anti-theft keep my 1999 ford windstar from starting

absolutely...

(No starter action at all)... If the starter is engaging not the trouble)

Your key as a weeny teeny transponder in it... which could get damaged(washing machine, dropped or broken).

Try THAT all important second key...
If the second key fails to get any starter action you DO need to look into your PATS (Passive anti-theft system),

Hope this helps.

Wont start theft light flashes kids lost my keys so i had the bright idea of punching out the ignition want a ******** move is there way to disconnect this?

I believe you have the PATS system, and there is no override. There are some bypass systems, but you still need at least one (possibly 2) factory key to operate. I have researched this extensively for one of my cars. I think you need to get at least one key from the dealer and have it programmed into the car. After that, I have found that by removing the PATS transponder from around the key cylinder and putting the one factory key inside (permanently), I can now use any $2 properly cut key to run the car. could be a bad pats transponder or you may just need to re-program your keys... both of which you need the ford scan tool to do so-

PATS KEY

Unfortunately there is no other solution unless you can find a shop that has an NGS scan tool, this tool will work also.
You might try some of your local locksmiths some of them have this technology now. See in order to program another key when you only have one is to be able to link up to the pats system and perform a security access.
