Question about 1997 Ford F250 SuperCab
We have a 97 F250, ran fine until we put a trailer on it, it acted like it had no power and was shaking
Take it and do a transmission service however don't do a flush as that will cause problems if over 100,000. Also a basic tune up will not hurt if you haven't tried that already.

Tips for a great answer:
Right Turn & Brake
Left Turn & Brake
Green- Right Turn and Brake
Yellow- Left Turn and Brake
Brown- Tail Lights
Red- Reverse (Back Up) Lights
Blue- Electric Brakes
Purple- Auxiliary Power
It sounds like your green and yello wires are shorted together somewhere along the length of the harness. I would check the wires on the trailer first. Easier yet, if you have another trailer to connec or access to another to use for testing, connect to it and see if the problem repeats; if it does the trouble is in the vehicle's wiring.
