Question about 2005 Fiat Pininfarina

1 Answer

Pininfarina has no power to anything when key is turned on.

I started up my Pininfarina and drove for about an hour and half, parked for about an hour, then the car would not start. I tried jumping but no luck. Pushed it down a hill and popped the clutch, started fine. Realized that when I turn on the ignition there is no power to the dash, lights, radio nothing. It has a new battery. It will start when pushed and the clutch is popped. Help!

You do have some power or it wouldn't start on a push. Ckhk your connections to battery. Remove, clean and reinstall.

If you don't have headlights, the battery connections would be the first thing to check. The truck gets power thru the cables going to the starter and ground to the engine and frame.
If you have headlights but nothing else when you turn the key on, it could be the key switch.

TRUCK WAS RUNNING NOW IT WON'T START

Does the battery have a full or good charge. WHat happens when you turn the key to start it? Anything? Clicking? Nothing? If automatic, did you try to start it in neutral, or make sure that it is in park fully? If that works it could be the neutral safety switch. If not, Next thing to check would be the starter.

Your Ignition Relay Is Faulty.
It is located in the Underhood Fusebox.
Consult your manual or the box lid for the exact location.
