Question about 2003 GMC Envoy
I have a 2003 gmc envoy, what should the rpm be while idle?
Depending on the motor, all makes and models should ranged no less then 500 rpm and 1500 rpm, the most common idle is about 1000 rpm and 1200rpm.

I see this a lot on the 03-06 Envoy instrument clusters, it's caused by failing stepper motors on the cluster's circuit board. It can be fixed though, check out this page about how to get it fixed - Envoy tachometer not working
