Question about 1998 Chevrolet Malibu
1998 Chevy Malibu L-3, V-6 engine - are there any engine components that need to be removed to replace the 3 rear sparkplugs? I am using a 3/8" or 1/2" drive rachet with extension, swivel joint to get inbetween engine and firewall.
I did replace my plugs, there is a plastic clip on the alternator that holds the wiring on you can pop off to get out of the way to get to the plugs. Use gloves and if you have a spark plug boot puller tool it helps, since they get stuck and are hard to get off, and you can pull the wire out of the boot and will have to replace the whole wire. make sure the right wire goes back on the right plug.
