Question about 1996 Lincoln Continental
2000 lincoln continental blows brake lite fuse. the brake lite switch and plug in has been replaced because the plug in melted . but it still blows a fuse when then brake pedal is pushed and the shifter is moved
Please check the brake light wiring there must be somewhere where the live wire is touching the body (earth -) and thus the blowing of the fuses.
Since the plug in had melted so must have the wires insulation top melted somewhere and its now shorting.
Hope this helps.
