Question about 2004 Honda Accord

1 Answer

Audio Problem I have a 2004 Accord DX, stck shift. The Audio screen goes blank all of a sudden, the audio also goes off, or at times the radio controls display fine but there is no audio in the Speakers. Everything works fine sometimes without any problem, but at times one of the above problem occurs. Can anyone help me.

No sound radio honda accord 2004

Either radio is bad, or you have a loose connection to speakers, or poor ground connection at the radio. If a poor ground connection, the radio will intermittently not work also. Since radio continues to work, but sound does not, it is probably a bad audio circuit in the radio itself.

It may be asking for you to enter the Radio Code. You should have the code on a little card that looks like a credit card.

Radio code will not work though it is code that goes with serial number that showed on screen on unit when i did like tech. explain on code site

If you enter the wrong code three times then the audio unit will lock. you'll have to disconnect the battery for a couple of minutes. Make sure its the right code and try again. If its a Navigation equipped system 03-07 Accord these audio codes are 4-digits. Make sure the tech performed the anti-theft code inquiry correct. I've also seen a preset button malfunction which won't register when pushed. -hope this helps.

Please I need a radio code for my honda accord 2004 model

If an audio unit with theft protection is disconnected from electrical power, you must enter a unique code number into the unit or it will not work. This code and the audio unit’s serial number are listed on the anti-theft ID card that comes with the vehicle. If this card is lost, you must obtain the audio unit serial number in order to get the radio code (some people say that they have found the code on a sticker inside the glove compartment, but I wouldn’t count on that). Some newer vehicles allow you to retrieve the audio unit serial number electronically from the radio. Refer to your owner’s manual for the specific procedure (the following usually will work: Turn the radio off. Push the preset 1, preset 6, and power buttons at the same time, then quickly release.)
Once you have the audio unit serial number, you can call Auto Customer Service at (800) 999-1009 or have the dealer look up the radio code.
Hope this helps you.

Honda radio says ERROR E

You only get like 10 tries this means you made to many attempts trying to put the wrong code in. Disconnect the battery cable and then try putting the code in the radio again.
