Question about 2000 Ford Escort
My escort won't idle properly. In 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear it will idle at 3000 rpm's. It sounds like a vacuum leak but someone said it may be a throttle position sensor. Where is this sensor and is this the problem?
Check your IAC,, Idle Air Control solenoid. It is attached to the throttle body and controls the air flow at idle by bleeding air into the throttle body.
