Question about 2002 Isuzu Trooper
I own a 2003 Isuzu Trooper (automatic); upon acceleration my car will not go anywhere if stopped. I can push the gas pedal all the way to the floor, NOTHING!! Now, if I am at a decent speed (like 10-15 mph) the car seems (NOTE: now this is my own personal assessment w/no experience whatsoever) to automatically kick into second which will then allows me to drive. This all progressed slowly, at first if I was at a red light/stop sign and pushed the accelerator it would take a second or two but would start to move (slowly). Then after awhile it would not go anywhere once I was stopped. Driving got pretty tricky but it now sits and well, I do too!!! Can anyone offer any info.?? Thanks
Tranny cud be going out. dose the car rev up? if so your tranny is more then likly going out. if it dose not rev up when gas is aplyed then you throtle cable has broke or came lose.
