Its a wild chance, check to see if you have trailer towing wiring/connectors, there could be a short between wires there,, does the flashing malfunction appear on dash signals or outside car? marty

My right rear turn signal stays solid, won't blink, in the vehicle the right blinker light blinks excessively fast, I have a 1999 surburban

Sounds like a bad ground to me, although i am no expert.
i would be checkinh all connections and take it from there, a little wd40 might just solve it short term.

Jaguar xj6 break light cancels signal

Replace the turn signal switch. Bad contact inside causing a crossing of the circuits. When the turn signal is applied it should open the brake light circuit allowing for just the signal to work. Doesn't sound like the switch is doing it's job.

Left directional speed is faster than it is supposed to be; right one is normal speed;

if i understand you the left turn signal blinks faster than the right one.
if that is it it means one of the turn signal bulbs is bad , going bad or is loose. check all bulbs for good connection replace if one is dim or out completely. good luck

REAR BRAKE LIGHTS DO NOT COME ONLY TAP LIGHT IS

Check for power at the turn signal switch. White wire comes from brake switch switch into the turn signal switch. The brake light switch is working because the high mount brake light is working..right? Do the turn signals work ok? if so, then the wiring is OK. The brake signal wires that come out of the turn signal switch are dark green(right) and yellow (left).

2005 Canyon turn signal problem

No, but that's probably where your problem is. The wires get the hell beat out of them by stones, and then they short out and cause problems. I would take a look at it.

I am not sure what wires to use to hook up the trailer lights.

The wiring bundle in the right rear (jack) storage compartment contains the trailer wiring harness (if so equipped).
The color code is:
Brown- Running lights
Yellow- Left turn signal
Dk Green- Right turn signal
Lt Grn w/white stripe- GROUND
Lt. Green- back-up lights
White- CHM stop lamp
Orange-fused Aux
Blue- unfused Aux

as found on my 2002 Safari.
