Could be low on Transmission fluid, hence it is jaming up. You must chack and then top up if needed.

Transmission will not shiff when cold,at start up

It is often referred to "Morning Sickness". This is the result of never changing the transmission fluid. The valve body of the transmission is probably sludged up. A flush "may" help, but the transmission's days are numbered.

I cant find the transmision dipstick and my

well you cant find the dipstick for the simple reason there is no dipstick,,,you have a VTI or CVT transmission,,with operates like a snowmobile transmission,,anyhow it takes special transmission fluid,,very expensive,,,,Saturn had alot of problems with these transmissions,,,,what i would try is take your car to the dealer and have them change the trans fluid and do the latest TCM update for the trans,,this can do wonders for these trans,,,,,and if that dont work youre gonna need a new trans,,,,,which is alot like $5000-$7000 installed,,,,there was a factory exteneded warranty to 150k miles but when GM went thru bankruptcy they ditched it,,so you will now have to incure costs to fix it,,,thanks GM..,the trans fluid change and tcm update ,, TCM trans control module,,will cost about $350,,hope this helps

Is my transmision going out

If it only does this in third gear and no others then your tranny is faulty in that gear. Expensive fix.. I would make sure that your fluid is full and clean before I change the tranny.

Automatic Transmision went, but still drives in reverse

Will it move in manual low or if you rev up the engine? And you don't have to remove the engine to get the transmission out. I've removed lots of them. You do however have to remove the sub frame.

2005 Chevy Avalanche Transmission Problem

i had the same problem, its the torque converter. I took my 05 c/a in because i was having shifting problem, the long and short of it is there is a breather on the tranmission that sucks in water from the road. the water and the atf dont mix. the dealer put in a torque converter and changed the fluid and installed a redesigned transmission breather.

Automatic Transmission problem

Sounds more like a speed sensor located at the transmission. Have your car scanned for a Trouble code. They do it for free at most car parts stores (ie. AutoZone, Kragen's Checker..)
