Question about 1992 Lexus Sc 400
I doubt the lighter itself is the problem, as it has only 2 wires and no continuity unless you plug something in it. You probably just blew a fuse when you unscrewed it cause both wires touched (short circuit). Just find the fuse for the instrument cluster and lighter/accessories and check it, it should just be burnt and needs replacing. Just make sur to isolate the wires from one another, and any piece of metal around it, like the dash frame, radio, etc. Hope this helps!
