Heating fan switch not working

cab heater? there are 3 fans, engine, cab heat and A/C. so....
a stuck CAB switch is a bad switch. easy huh?
if the switch only works on high but does move, that is a bad heater fan Resistor block. (usually bolted to fan hosing as it is air cooled this part)

The fan that controls the A/C and heater is stuck in the on position & running full blast. Puching the off button or manually puching the fan buttons does not do anything. The fan continues to run full...

Sounds like a problem with the fan switch. If you can find the fuse for the blower motor, you could pull the fuse to stop the fan until you can get the problem fixed.

The heater fan will not shut off even when the key is out of the ignition switch in the off position

The high speed relay is probably stuck and will have to be replaced. They are usually under the hood on or near the heater housing.

Switch needs replaced in dash. you will have to take it out of the car and put a new fan switch, should work in all positions, and since its stuck that would be what I would replace first, not sure on procedure. http://hyundaisonata.com

96 Tahoe heater air con fan on the fritz

This sound like the windings in the motor are bad. If you are getting power to the motor in all speeds, motor is probably bad. There is a relay that is located behind the glove box. The glove box usually just snaps out by gently flexing in the sides. The relay is mounted on a bracket. Small, black, and square. Don't over look a bad switch either.

Good Luck
